Penn State’s Rec Hall to host unique professional freestyle wrestling event in October

Wrestling season for Cael Sanderson’s dominant Penn State wrestling program will be here soon.

And there will be a unique wrestling event at the storied home of PSU wrestling on Oct. 25.

Real American Freestyle (RAF), an unscripted pro wrestling league that includes some former Penn State standouts, will hold an event Oct. 25 at Rec Hall in State College.

Billed as RAF02, there will be a co-main event involving Olympic champ Kyle Snyder and NCAA champ Mason Parris in a battle of heavyweights.

Tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster beginning Sept. 18, according to an RAF release. The event will be carried live on the streaming service Fox Nation.
