ORANGE, Ohio -- The village will host a Candidates Night at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at Village Hall, 4600 Lander Road.
Mayor Judson Kline said the event will give candidates for Village Council and the Orange Board of Education in the Nov. 4 election an opportunity to present themselves to the community.
On Wednesday (Sept. 10), Kline originally told council that the event would be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 20.
But Council President Brent Silver asked if there was any chance it could be moved to an earlier date, due to early and mail-in voting.
Kline said at the time that village officials had tried to make it earlier, couldn’t find a date due to conflicts.
But on Thursday (Sept. 11), cleveland.com was informed via email that the date had been changed to Oct. 9.
The event will be moderated by Barbar
