A radiographer has been banned from practising after he failed to inform the National Board of his workplace sexual misconduct conviction.

Michael Joseph Solari was taken to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) by the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) after he failed to disclose that he was found guilty of sexually touching a person without consent.

The 58-year-old was sentenced in Orange Local Court on November 24, 2023 to 12 months jail for the 2022 workplace incident.

The custodial sentence, which was ordered to be served by an intensive correction order, was later downgraded in the Orange District Court to an 18-month community correction order.
