CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Many across the nation are filled with shock and sadness over the killing of conservative influencer and Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk.
A gunshot from a distant rooftop struck and killed Kirk while he was speaking at an outdoor event at the Utah University campus on Wednesday.
Mourners gathered in Marion Square Thursday night for a vigil honoring the political activist and commentator. Those who gathered said this was a chance for people to reflect and pay their respects, while also praying for peace across America.
