Police are searching for the suspect who fatally shot conservative activist Charlie Kirk during an event in Utah on Wednesday, with federal investigators releasing pictures and video of the alleged shooter.

The enhanced pictures show a person wearing a hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeved black shirt, and carrying a backpack. The FBI released surveillance video overnight of the suspect climbing down a roof at Utah Valley University after the shooting.

Police said they found a gun in the woods, which they believe was used to kill Kirk. The weapon and ammunition are being analyzed by law enforcement at a federal lab.
