After areas of fog clear out today - especially in the Thumb and Saginaw Valley, it will be dry and warm again across Southeast Michigan.

Then some rain - and even a thunderstorm or two - are forecast to move in for the first part of Saturday.

On Sunday, another pattern of warm and dry weather will begin.

Here are the forecast highlights from the National Weather Service office in Detroit :

Morning fog across Michigan’s Thumb and Saginaw Valley regions is expected to burn off today as high pressure continues to influence the area. After the fog clears, we can expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching around 80 degrees, slightly warmer than Thursday.
