Summer-like temperatures are making a strong return across Michigan today - and we will continue that pattern well into next week.

There is one blip of rain in the forecast. For some, it will start late tonight and others won’t see any showers until Saturday.

A few thunderstorms could be in the mix, too.

Here are the forecast highlights from the National Weather Service offices across Michigan:

We can expect a warm and potentially wet Friday night into Saturday, with temperatures climbing into the 70s and a chance of scattered showers across the state.

A weak weather system will bring light rain and potentially some thunderstorms late Friday night through Saturday morning, particularly in the Upper Peninsula and western parts of Lower Michigan.
