Police have confirmed a man has been arrested after two dogs went on a violent rampage in north Warwickshire - injuring six people and a dog in the process.
The incident, which happened in Polesworth on Thursday afternoon, saw an air ambulance scrambled to the scene, with one person taken to hospital with injuries. Police have thanked those who put themselves at risk to try and contain the aggressive animals.
A spokesman for Atherstone & Coleshill Police said: "We’ve arrested a man and seized two dogs after six people and a dog were injured in Polesworth yesterday afternoon.
"Shortly before midday, people started calling us to report that two dogs were loose on Park Street - attacking another dog and members of the public. While we were on our way, several members of the public br
