MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - According to the Associated Press , President Trump has confirmed that he will be bringing the National Guard to the City of Memphis.

In a statement, the president shared on Fox News Channel, he noted that Mayor Paul Young and Governor Bill Lee agree with the move.

Trump added that the city is ‘deeply troubled,’ citing the city’s crime rates.
