Nearly 48 hours after right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated, a suspect has been identified in connection with the incident.
Mr Kirk, 31, was shot dead at a debate at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, September 10, with authorities describing the crime as a political assassination.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has now been named as the individual arrested in connection with the shooting, according to local officials.
The man was reportedly born in Utah in April 2003, NBC News has said, with five five senior law enforcement officials familiar with the case cited.
