Allen Park — It's rare that a player will be active on gameday after missing all three days of practice earlier in the week, but the Detroit Lions are leaving the door open for starting offensive tackle Taylor Decker to do just that.
Lions coach Dan Campbell said that while Decker, who's dealing with a shoulder injury, will not practice again Friday, he could still play in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears at Ford Field.
"He's got a little bit of something here, and so, we're just trying to buy him some time to where he feels better," Campbell said Friday morning. "A lot of it too is the luxury of — Decker's played a lot of football, so he'll be ready as long as it feels right.
