More details are being reported about Tyler Robinson , the suspect identified in the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk .

Kirk , a longtime Trump ally and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot in the neck and killed during a public debate at Utah Valley University on Wednesday (September 10). The shooting has been called a political assassination. It’s believed that the shooter used a bolt-action rifle and fired from the roof of a building 200 yards away.

Robinson , the 22-year-old suspect, was captured after a two-day FBI manhunt. Utah Governor Spencer Cox named him as the alleged shooter during a press conference on Friday.
