BUCKEYE, AZ (AZFamily) — A grandfather and two young boys are dead following a rollover crash in the far West Valley on Thursday night.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 about a mile east of Palo Verde Road in Buckeye .

Firefighters said a man, later identified as 48-year-old Isreal Vasquez, died at the scene. Two boys, ages 6 and 9, later died after being rushed to the hospital.

A woman and a teen were also hospitalized. DPS investigators said no one was wearing a seatbelt.

Just west of this crash, one person died and two were injured in a collision that involved two semi-trucks. And on I-10 overnight, a pedestrian died after being struck near Ray Road in Tempe.
