MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Rooftop Sculpture Garden at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is getting a facelift.
The renovation comes as MMoCA celebrates it 125th anniversary as an institution and 20th anniversary in its current building.
Organizers said the space will be updated with native plantings, a water feature designed to support pollinators, better lighting, accessibility and artwork.
Improvements will also be made to the roof membrane.
All renovations costs will be covered by an anonymous donor who donated nearly $3 million.
Over the last 20 years, the 7,100-square-foot space has been the backdrop for hundreds of films screenings, weddings and special events, showcasing views of the State Capitol.
