HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - The Eversource Hartford Marathon is not just a one day event. It takes weeks, months and even years of people training to be a part of this day whether you are a runner or a volunteer. That effort has inspired an art installation going up in Hartford as we speak, and Channel 3’s Nicole Nalepa discovered its story.

Notable street artist Arcy has been painting large scale murals for years in communities around the country. Right now he is in Hartford working on one just a block away from Bushnell Park at the corner of Lewis and Pearl Streets.

“I’ve been working with Rise Up for many years now and this opportunity came up with HMF and presented the idea to me and I proposed a design and the rest is history,” Arcy said.
