ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Flower City Comic Con is in full swing at the Total Sports Experience building in Gates, running through Sunday.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of events including anime-themed nights featuring voice actresses and artists, as well as cosplay contests, esports gaming tournaments, and fan meetups.

"It's very very hard to believe, Jim hired me 45 years ago. He's now left us now for 35 years. But he has never left us, his spirit, the love that he has for all of you, for all of humanity. You know the Muppet universe is the most welcoming and loving and silliest universe there is. And it will never, ever, go away. Because of you Muppet kids," said Guy Gilchrist, who refers to himself as Jim Henson's cartoonist.
