SAINT PAUL, Minn. — When you work in security and intelligence, keeping secrets is a part of the job, but at Metro State University, students are hoping to learn the secrets of how to start a career in cybersecurity.
"We've already had people come in from the FBI, the CIA, and it's super exciting,” senior student Jordan Curtis said.
On Friday, Metro State University hosted the first-ever Intelligence Community Colloquium to build new connections between cybersecurity professionals and students.
The event featured several speakers, including Johanna Clyborne, a retired Major General with the Minnesota National Guard.
“It is very hard to differentiate what is truth and what is not,” Clyborne said during her keynote speech.
