CLEVELAND — An individual is in custody after allegedly brandishing a knife at Rocky River High School students during a football game Friday night, school officials said in a message obtained by 3News.

In the message, shared with the families of Rocky River students via email, the district said no one was injured and all students and spectators were safe.

The alleged incident happened at Rocky River's home game against Valley Forge of Parma Heights.

"Tonight there was an incident at our home football game involving a non-Rocky River student who brandished a knife at Rocky River students," the message reads.
