BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Drivers in Blair County will see some overnight lane restrictions along Interstate 99 starting Monday, Sept. 15, PennDOT announced.
The lane closures will affect Interstate 99 both north and southbound between Frankstown Road and 17th Street exits. Starting at 8 p.m. Monday, there will be a single lane restriction until 6 a.m. each night throughout the week as crews complete concrete paving, milling, and pavement line painting.
Additional paving will also be completed the week of Sept. 15 on both northbound and southbound lanes of I-99 near the Pinecroft exit, and just the southbound lane near the Tyrone exit.
The work, contracted with New Enterprise Stone and Lime, is part of a $23 million project that aims to complete improvements along the 10-mile stretch
