MISSOULA, Mont. — For the second time this season, UND was two minutes away from a splashy win for the program.
But in similar fashion to Kansas State in Week 1, UND let a lead in the fourth quarter slip away in a 24-23 loss to Montana at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in front of 26,492 fans.

On UND's first drive of the second half, Jerry Kaminski connected with tight end Watson Hafer for what appeared to be an impressive run-and-catch 56-yard touchdown for the Missouri State transfer tight end.
Officals, however, ruled an illegal touch on Hafer for lining up incorrectly.
