COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina hopes to regroup after losing 31-7 to the Vanderbilt Commodores, who broke a 16-game losing streak against the Gamecocks.

The game looked to be a dogfight in the beginning.

After an opening drive touchdown from the Commodores, South Carolina immediately responded to tie the game 7-7.

Several tough runs took the Gamecocks all the way down the field, with Rashul Faison finishing the drive with a touchdown.

After another long drive from the Gamecocks, LaNorris Sellers gets picked off in the red zone by a lineman dropping back in coverage.

Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia turned it on in the second quarter.
