Numerous showers and thunderstorms swept through New Mexico on Saturday bringing heavy rainfall, gusty winds and hail to many. A confirmed tornado touched down in Utah and crossed into Montezuma County. Several cities saw a healthy amount of rainfall with Clovis reaching over 1.20" and T or C accumulating more than an inch of rainfall. Tonight, storms will push east into Texas and Oklahoma leaving the state to dry out. A few areas may have fog tomorrow morning to start Sunday.

Tomorrow, drier air at the middle level of the atmosphere settles in allowing for sunshine and calmer conditions around the state. A slight chance for a shower may persist in SE New Mexico.
