In the second quarter of Saturday's SEC matchup between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Vanderbilt Commodores, preseason Heisman Trophy hopeful LaNorris Sellers went down with a concerning head injury after being the recipient of a targeting call, which has forced him out of the game.

With just under two minutes left in the second quarter, Sellers was able to get a pass into the flat to his running back Rahsul Faison. But in doing so, he took a massive hit to the head from a blitzing Vanderbilt defender, who was flagged for targeting and subsequently ejected from the game.
