Kayla Boozer has wanted to be on TV for the past 12 years. The 33-year-old Newberry County resident (whose street address is Chapin, but lives near Little Mountain), said it’s been a dream of hers for a long time.
Her dream became a reality in July when she was selected to compete on a new game show called The Perfect Line , premiering on the Game Show Network Monday, Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. Boozer applied online, received a response where she participated in a mock version of the show via Zoom, then waited for about two months until she got the news she’d been waiting for.
“I got a call saying ‘you’re on the show,’” she said. “It was awesome and I was nervous the whole time. But it actually went better than I thought it would.”
