Auburn football improved to 3-0 overall after defeating South Alabama 31-15 in Tigers last nonconference game until November.

With three games down, the gauntlet known as the SEC awaits, but before Auburn turns their focus to that, head coach Hugh Freeze wants to reflect on that has been accomplished so far in 2025.

“We’ve got a lot we can obviously improve on. But the goal today was to be 3-0 and 1-0 today heading into conference play,” Freeze said postgame. “Our team achieved that, so we’re going to celebrate that and hopefully get some folks healthy and some rest this weekend and get ready to open conference play.”
