The Patriots took a 12-0 lead over the Miami Dolphins after two scoring drives in the first quarter, but it could have been 14-0 had New England’s kicker been able to make both PATs.

Andy Borregales, who spent three seasons kicking for the University of Miami at Hard Rock Stadium, missed consecutive kicks after each of the Patriots’ touchdowns.

Social media was quick to react to the rookie’s mishaps.

Borregales beat out Parker Romo in New England’s kicker competition despite the latter being more reliable throughout training camp.
