HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10pm tonight for portions of central and southern Nebraska, and northern Kansas. After morning showers and thunderstorms, a second round of storms has developed across western Nebraska and northwestern Kansas. Some of these storms are already severe warned. These storms are expected to continue moving slowly northeast into the evening hours. A slight risk (level 2 of 5) is in place for portions of south central Nebraska with the primary threat being large hail up to ping pong ball size in diameter.
