MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) — The Wisconsin Medical Project hosted its Warehouse Celebration at Demetral Park Shelter in Madison on Saturday.

The event recognized volunteers and highlighted the group's global efforts to provide medical supplies to underserved communities.

Mick E., president of the Wisconsin Medical Project, emphasized the importance of this revived tradition.

“Well, we're having a thank you party for all the contributors and workers that have been part of our organization for nearly 25 years,” Mick said. “We had a party at our warehouse until COVID, but then that didn't happen. So we're kind of reviving a thank you party.”
