HOUSTON — Shipley Donuts is celebrating National Coffee Day with a brand-new creation: the Cold Brew Donut.

The first-of-its-kind treat combines the bold flavor of cold brew coffee with Shipley’s classic buttermilk cake donut, finished with the chain’s signature glaze. Each donut contains 56 milligrams of caffeine — about two-thirds the amount in an 8-ounce cup of coffee — offering donut fans a sweet way to get an energy boost.

The Cold Brew Donut will be available for a limited time from Friday, Sept. 26 through Oct. 10 at participating locations, priced at $1.99 for one, $5 for three, or $9.99 for six.
