A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Oakville Sunday morning.

The rider of a blue Yamaha motorcycle was northbound on Trafalgar Road shortly before 9 a.m. when it collided with a black Acura RDX that was turning left onto Burnhamthorpe Road East, police said in a release.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead on scene. The driver and passenger of the SUV was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
