The Ohio Department of Education has released its annual Ohio School Report Cards.

Since the Ohio General Assembly amended Ohio’s accountability law in the summer of 2021, districts and schools will now receive overall ratings and star ratings for five components. Advertisement

Districts and schools receive an overall rating of 1 to 5 stars in half-star increments.

Districts and schools also receive star ratings for categories including achievement, progress, gap closing, graduation and early literacy.

Report cards also include student-level proficiency rates based on the results of Ohio’s State Tests in English language arts, math, science, and social studies.
