CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Clemson University announced that an employee has been fired after an investigation into social media posts and two others have been removed from teaching duties.
Lawmakers have been raising concerns regarding posts following the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
University officials gave a statement on Saturday morning indicating one employee was suspended. On Monday, the university said the unidentified employee was terminated and two others are under investigation for termination.
Numerous viewers reached out to FOX Carolina about social media posts attributed to Clemson employees following Kirk’s death.
