A Theodore man is facing multiple assault charges after police allege he attacked birthday partygoers and plowed through the backyard of a residence in Belle Fountain over the weekend.

Darion Lee Mansfield, 34, was arrested Saturday night, Sept. 13, and booked into Mobile Metro Jail after Mobile police reported he struck a man in the head with an object and then drove a vehicle through a birthday party being held on the 3100 block of Bapitiste Drive South, hitting and injuring a woman, and striking a water slide, the corner of the home, the home’s backdoor steps and a grill. He also allegedly hit a parked vehicle.
