A Birmingham man suspected of using social media networks to promote people smuggling was arrested in the city this morning, Monday September 15.

The 38-year-old was detained during an operation in the Yardley area of Birmingham on Monday morning.

The city resident was arrested as part of an investigation into the use of social media to promote people smuggling services.
