WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The man who pleaded guilty to stabbing and killing a Watertown native outside of Syracuse will go to prison for 20 years to life.
According to syracuse.com , 45-year-old Richard Losee was sentenced Friday for killing his neighbor, 50-year-old old Scott Lamica, in Clay last September.
The article said he had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in May.
Lamica’s obituary says he was born in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School in 1993.
Syracuse.com reports Lamica’s family spoke at the sentencing. His mother said to the defendant, “I hope you rot in prison and die.”
