I’m sure that many like me receive daily political emails from various directions and also have found that “unsubscribing” is not much of a deterrent.

Recently, I received am email from Republican Voter Services with the subject line, “Our files indicate that you are a liberal, is that a mistake?” It went on to say, “WE CAN’T BELIEVE what we just came across…this must be a mistake, right, friend?”

In my opinion, especially in today’s environment, such messaging crosses a line. It certainly doesn’t dispose me to make a contribution and makes me wonder what its intent is.
