Police in southern Indiana are searching for a missing man convicted of a murder that happened nearly three decades ago.

Indiana State Police put out a silver alert for Roger Caldwell, 72, on Monday. Police say he was last seen Friday around 8:30 a.m. Advertisement

Caldwell, who has a history of mental illness, was convicted in 1996 of killing Andy Campbell, a groundskeeper at a Boy Scout camp in Charlestown.
