VERMILION, Ohio (WOIO) - An Erie County dad who used a cattle prod to discipline his two young children, pleaded guilty in Erie County Court of Common Pleas.
On Monday afternoon, Robert Bores pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic violence.
A third count of domestic violence and three counts of endangering children were dismissed.
Bores will be sentenced on Dec. 11.
Bores was arrested on March 13, 2024 after a tip from Children Services led Erie County Sheriff’s Detectives to his home in the area of State Route 113 in Florence Township.
According to detectives, the children were seven and eight years old and are currently being cared for by a relative.
