A British citizen is wanted after a woman's body was found in a septic tank behind a hotel in Kenya.

An inquest in 2018 concluded that Agnes Wanjiru was murdered by UK soldiers after she was found near a British Army base two months after she disappeared in March 2012.

An arrest warrant has been issued in connection with the 21-year-old's death.

Her family welcomed the warrant which was issued by High Court judge Alexander Muteti.

According to reports, the warrant compels the suspect to appear before a court on a charge of murder.
