CARY, N.C. (WNCN) – A shooting in broad daylight at a parking lot in Cary ended with a man being sent to the hospital on Tuesday, police said.

According to the Cary Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting that occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on the 6700 block of McCrimmon Parkway. When officers arrived on scene, police said they found a man who had been shot.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time, police said.

Another man, whom officers said shot the victim, was taken into custody.
