SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio high school graduate grew up and became an Emmy Award winner! Congratulations to Jeff Hiller!

Hiller graduated from Churchill High School in 1994 and took home the Emmy Sunday night for his role as Joel in HBO's "Somebody Somewhere." Hiller was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series going up against six other talented actors, including Ike Barinholtz, Colman Domingo, Harrison Ford, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Michael Urie and Bowen Yang.

This was the San Antonio native's first win and nomination with many of the Entertainment outlets claiming he was a long-shot, but as his name was announced many of the nominees including Yang stood and cheered for Hiller as he walked toward the stage.

Hiller seemed in disbelief as he was handed the Emmy.
