The Wood River Mountain Biking Team raced to the overall team victory at Soldier Mountain on Saturday with 4,268 points.

Wood River won the meet by 73 points over the Boise Brave Mountain Bike Team in the Division 1 category.

Sun Valley Community School placed fifth in Division 2 with 1,717 points, with Middleton winning with 1,784 points.

Wood River’s Payette Spangenberg won the female varsity race with a time of 1 hour, 24 minutes, 45.52 seconds over the three-lap race.

Other Wood River female race winners include Piper Spengler in the JV1 race at 58:16.55 over two laps and Tess Emery in the JV race at 1:07:21.65 over two laps.

Wood River’s Fleur Brazil was sixth in the varsity race at 1:34:07.4, while teammate Sophie McMinn was seventh at 1:34:46.35. Zoe Liberatore rounded out the
