HOUSTON (KIAH) — A 13-year-old Alief boy was hit by a white pickup truck just moments after getting off a Metro bus near Wilcrest and South Drive.

According to Metro officials, the driver of the pickup continued to drive away after striking the victim and it was captured on video.

The boy broke his leg in the hit and run and will need surgery according to his father.

Police are still searching for the driver. If you have any information regarding the hit and run, please contact area police.
