On July 26, wardens received a Tip411 text through Operation Game Thief reporting individuals shocking fish. Responding quickly, they patrolled the area and located a person of interest.
After an interview and investigation, the individual confessed to shocking fish around 4 a.m. that morning and admitted to keeping the illegal device in his truck.
Game wardens seized the equipment and filed charges.
