WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) - A man from West Haven was reported missing.

Police said Jimmie Portee, 71, left his home around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Portee did not take his cell phone with him.

They described him as standing 5′6″ tall, weighing 230 pounds, and wearing black pants, black sneakers, and a green button up shirt with a flower pattern on it.

Portee was also said to be wearing a gray and blue jacket.

He has dementia, according to police.

They said he may be in the New Haven area.

Anyone with any information was asked to contact the West Haven Police Department.
