NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency responded to a drowning on Norris Lake Monday night. It has prompted an investigation from the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office.

A TWRA representative confirmed Wednesday morning that officers responded to a floating house at Cedar Grove Marina Monday night. There, they learned a man had fallen from the house into the water.

The TWRA said the man’s body was recovered Tuesday morning.

WVLT News has reached out to the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office for more information, but has not heard back.
