A 33-year-old woman was raped on the street in the Bronx by an ex-con who called himself Romeo and gave her his cell number, a clue that led to his arrest, police said Wednesday.

The attacker, whose real name is Nicholas DeJesus, 33, was charged with rape, sex abuse, assault and harassment, police said.

He allegedly came up behind the woman at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday by the Kingsbridge Stop & Shop on Broadway near W. 234th St.

“Give it to me,” the victim quoted DeJesus demanding as he grabbed her around the neck, “or I’ll kill you.”

He then yanked down her shorts and raped her, police said, then walked with her south on Broadway.

At that point, DeJesus said he wanted to have sex with her again — but she ran into a nearby Dunkin’ and DeJesus ran down W. 230th St., police said.
