The Chilliwack Chiefs regular season kicks off with back-to-back home games this weekend.

They'll face Prince George in their home opener Friday, Sept. 19, followed by a Saturday game against Cowichan Valley.

The Chiefs return to the ice following a stellar 2024/25 season that saw them go all the way to the championship series against the Brooks Bandits.

While the team said goodbye to fan favourite Caleb Malholtra, who left for the Ontario Hockey League, there are some exciting new players to pay attention to this year, including Jack Plandowski, Ryan Small, Maximillian Brunner, Rylan Bissett and Koby Francis.

The Chiefs have also brought on three new netminders over the summer break: David Di Girolamo and Mathias Hasselmann and Ben Laurette.
