JACKSON, MI — A group chat discovered during a homicide investigation indicating there was a plan to rob a man now facing murder charges was about a video game, a witness testified Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Marshaun Cabell, 21, said messages found on his phone about “getting a lick” — slang for a windfall of money, typically through illegal means —were a part of a chat group for the popular video game “Grand Theft Auto.”
