HOUGHTON COUNTY, MI – These special tours take your fall color experience from the water to the skies.

Isle Royale Seaplanes is offering a bird’s eye view of the Keweenaw Peninsula’s spectacular autumn beauty.

The seaplanes take off from Lake Superior off the shore of Hubbell and rise above the rugged peninsula, revealing a kaleidoscope of brilliant orange, red and yellow.

Soaring above Eagle River, Mohawk, Lake Linden and Dollar Bay, the flight route is a treat for the eyes. Passengers will look down on landmarks like McLain State Park and the Quincy Mine .

From May to September, the seaplanes transport visitors to Isle Royale National Park. When the park closes for the season, it’s time for fall color tours.
